Basic Care: Finch mix, canary mix, fruits and vegetables, *Feast egg food, *Daily Essentials vitamins, *Calciboost.

Sexing: Males have bright yellow feathers around neck that are extended during courtship (resembles a pansy) Breeding: Can breed in cages or colonies in 1/2 open wood nest box or large dome bamboo nest. Prefer coco fiber and jute nesting material.

Lifespan: 5-7 years

Compatibility: Can be aggressive when breeding, but can mix with most finches.

Hardiness: Hardy.
