Distribution: Europe

Basic Care: Finch mix, canary mix, black oil sunflower, fruits and vegetables, *Feast egg food, *Daily Essentials vitamins, *Calciboost.

Sexing: Males have larger red mask.

Breeding: Can breed in cages or colonies in 1/2 open wood nest box or large dome bamboo nest. Prefer coco fiber and jute nesting material.

Lifespan: 5-7 years

Compatibility: Can be aggressive when breeding, but can mix with most larger finches.

Hardiness: Hardy.
