Distribution: Africa

Basic Care: Finch mix, fruits and vegetables, *Feast egg food, *Daily Essentials vitamins, *Calciboost. Sexing: Males have orange/black color, females brown.

Breeding: Can breed in cages or colonies, free builders. Will weave large nests attached to wire, etc. Breeds best in harems of 3-4 females per male. Prefer sisal and jute nesting material. Require live food to breed & raise young.

Lifespan: 5-7 years

Compatibility: Non-aggressive, can mix with most finches.

Hardiness: Hardy.
