Red Headed Parrot finch. Also known as Red Faced Parrot finch.

Distribution: Australia

Basic Care: Finch mix, fruits and vegetables, *Feast egg food, *Daily Essentials vitamins, *Calciboost. Sexing: Males have larger red hood.

Breeding: Can breed in cages or colonies in 1/2 open wood nest box or large dome bamboo nest. Prefer coco fiber and jute nesting material.

Lifespan: 5-7 years

Compatibility: Non-aggressive, can mix with most finches.

Hardiness: Hardy.
