St. Helena's Waxbill. Also known as Common Waxbill.

Basic Care: Finch mix, fruits and vegetables, *Feast egg food, *Daily Essentials vitamins, *Calciboost.
Sexing: Males have brighter red streak over eyes and red color on belly.
Breeding: Can breed in cages or colonies in 1/2 open wood nest box or large dome bamboo nest. Prefer coco fiber and jute nesting material. Require live food to breed & raise young.
Lifespan: 5-7 years
Compatibility: Non-aggressive, can mix with most finches.
Hardiness: Hardy.
