Distribution: Africa

Basic Care: Finch mix, fruits and vegetables, *Feast egg food, *Daily Essentials vitamins, *Calciboost.

Sexing: Females have black necklace.

Breeding: Can breed in cages or colonies in 1/2 open wood nest box or large dome bamboo nest. Prefer coco fiber and jute nesting material. Require live food to breed & raise young.

Lifespan: 15-20 years

Compatibility: Aggressive when breeding, but otherwise can mix with most finches.

Hardiness: Hardy.
